Privacy

This is an independent, volunteer-run community site. It is not affiliated with the City of Tampa or the Parking Division.

What we collect

• We run no analytics and no third-party trackers. Nothing watches what you read on this site.
• Public pages are fully public — you never have to give us anything to browse them.
• The weather widget calls Open-Meteo directly from your browser; Open-Meteo sees a standard API request (IP address). The forecast is cached in your browser's local storage for 30 minutes — nothing leaves your device beyond that call.
• Like most sites behind a CDN, our host logs basic server data (IP address, user agent, page requested) for security and abuse prevention. We don't see or use this for anything else.

Gardener accounts

• We store the minimum: your email address, plot number(s), and role. Passwords are never stored — you log in with a personal token whose hash is kept server-side.
• Your account data exists only to verify you're a gardener of record and to run the Clubhouse. It is never sold, rented, or shared.
• Ask any moderator (or email us) to delete your account at any time; it's removed from our database on request.

The Clubhouse (chat)

• Chat messages are visible only to authenticated gardeners and City staff participants — semi-private, not confidential. Don't share anything you wouldn't want another gardener to read.
• Chat history is retained for 24 months, then deleted. Moderators can delete individual messages; deactivated participants lose access immediately.
